Advanced Marina Management Course
The Advanced Marina Management (AMM) program is a profit-management training course designed for senior marina professionals.
Through
small groups, interactive workshops and specific case studies, the AMM
course examines such topics as profit-centre management, regulations
and permitting, operations, marina law, human-resource management, risk
management and loss control, improving the quality and value of
services, policy and procedure manuals, business strategy and financial
management, marketing, promotion, and pricing.
The AMM School
offers its graduates a national and international business perspective
on management issues, and a long-term network of international contacts
to rely on in the future.
Learn about policies and practices
that have been successful in other regions of the country and in
different nations. Discover new solutions to traditional management
challenges. Establish a long-lasting network of contacts in the
industry - a major benefit for years to come. Those who take this
course return to their facilities with a new perspective and fresh
approach to management.
MIAA carefully screens applicants to
ensure that all eighteen participants create a well-balanced peer group
that will share knowledge and experience equally in this intensive,
participatory residency course. Participants engage in pre-course
assignments, case studies, small-group problem-solving, student
presentations, and interactive workshops and some informal lectures.
We go beyond the basics and address the leading-edge analysis of progressive business practices.
Admission Requirements:

completion of the Intermediate Marina Management Course (IMM) and at
